Helia is free software under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or (at your option) any later version. The licence text is LICENSE in the source, unmodified.

Additional terms

As GPLv3 section 7 allows, the author attribution and the dedication of Helia, which forms part of it, must be preserved in the source notices and in the legal notices the program displays (its About page and its version output), and modified versions must be marked as changed. The full terms are in ADDITIONAL-TERMS.md.

The Helia logo, and every image derived from it, is not covered by the GPL. All rights reserved. See LOGO-LICENCE.md.

The licences of the libraries and fonts in each release are listed in the About page of the desktop app and in the release's software bill of materials.
